Dementia Solutions

Cogthera

Cogthera constantly monitors the conditions of patients' cognitive functions and provides personalized cognitive training to strengthen the neural networks, which increases the 'cognitive reserve' and helps with memory.
The app's contents are derived from the concept of Metamemory training, the subject of our founders' long-year research.

*Cognitive reserve: a concept introduced from the distinction between neuropathological and clinical severity of the brain;

one of the factors that determine the prevention and prognosis of dementia.

*Metamemory training provides specific strategies for memory improvement in patients with early signs of cognitive decline (e.g., MCI) by strengthening the brain structure that is responsible for memory functions(i.e. hippocampus) and the integrated neural networks.

Software as a Medical Device
for enhancing early cognitive decline

1

01

Conversation-based interface using vocal cues,
made for the convenience of patients with early cognitive decline.

02

After accurate assessments of the patient’s cognitive ability, training contents are automatically generated via AI technology, providing personalized training with difficulty adjustments.

03

Frees the patient from restraints of professional presence, location, and time.
 Accessible anytime and anywhere.

Why Emocog

We create technology

that helps sustain

brain health

About 10% of the senior population suffers from dementia. Yet, many patients begin to encounter issues with memory loss in the stage before dementia, known as Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI).

In comparison to dementia, 25% of the senior population suffers from MCI.

Emocog currently develops Digital therapeutics,
aiming to enhance the cognitive functions of patients in an early stage of cognitive decline.

Why Emocog

Digital Therapeutics

that can be trusted,
developed by

dementia experts

Managing, i.e., proactively taking care of and training cognitive function is just as important as medicine for dementia patients.
We came up with a digital therapeutics product with the concept of a 'digital coach' supporting patients in managing their cognitive functions, available anytime and anywhere.

Emocog provides reliable and personalized solutions to treat cognitive decline by training the brain using digital technology developed by dementia specialists.

Research

Technology
based on world-class scientific results

The results of 20 years of research have been published in
5 leading SCI-indexed journals on brain disease.

*Science Citation Index (SCI): renowned journals carefully selected
based on a strict criteria among science and technology journals

Cogcare

Cogcare consists of Medi-ballet and MMT.

Medi-ballet is a ballet program for the elderly aiming to improve memory by training the body and memory.
Improve your symptoms and upgrade your quality of life with Medi Ballet.

MMT is a training program based on ‘metamemory’ that enhances the cognitive function of the elderly with the help of cognitive training experts.
